Can someone please ELI5 what the insurrection act is? I’m not American, and I don’t know what it means to invoke the act. Does it give him power to deploy military to attack civilians?
I feel like the normalization of boots on the ground in American cities isn’t working as well as they thought, optics wise. I don’t think it’ll be as easy as they thought, thank god.
