    1. Not a waste if you have fun i suppose, except if its gambling, then, then you need help

Never pay full price, Steam wishlist and wait for sale.

When it’s on sale on Steam it’s usually also on sale on other platforms.

    3. I have a unit of measurement for this. If I get a dollar an hour from a game, minimum- it’s well worth it. Look at Legos. The millennium falcon costs 859.99. Gaming can be very cost efficient.

Why? Time well spent. If you don’t feel that way, stop playing and go do what your putting off.

Steam says im almost at $2000 spent. I dont even want to see what it’s at on my xbox.

    6. As a ‘patient gamer’ getting games on sale etc. I think gaming is actually one of my cheapest pastimes (post-buying the system). Like I bought a game for a fiver the other week that could get 50+ hours play. I’m spending almost that to get to work in the morning

    7. Get married and have a kid. I can’t believe how much time I don’t get to spend playing video games. Love it while you got it, King.

A hobby will cost money, its normal.

Unless you’re gambling with one of those gacha games.

Or worse.. you participate in predatory microtransaction

    9. Steam sales really had me thinking I was saving money… $5 here, $10 there… suddenly I own 300 games and played 6

    10. Eh, I don’t think it’s a waste, maybe if you’ve got a huge library of games you haven’t played. If you’ve played and enjoyed the games it’s good entertainment
