    1. Because the Fed keeps destroying our spending power while smugly telling us it’s a good thing

    2. If the government wants people to not be homeless, then businesses need to start paying a livable wage

    3. I can’t afford to move out. I will always have to live with other people and this is very sad

50%? Rent for me is almost double my income. It takes 2 paychecks to pay rent and that only leaves about 200-300 to work with on food and other bills

    5. No sense of mystery in life anymore, no privacy as we’re all chained to our phones, the disinformation plagues on the internet, crumbling institutions and rights for some. Cherry on top is the in-your-face forced visibility of it all which is pretty much a combination of all of these.

anyone willing to tell me where they live so I can google and see if that’s actually, realistically, a condition forced upon them, or they are just renting an entire 3bd apartment as a single person while working a minimum wage job?

Get roommates, go without the extras, and figure out how to increase your salary, but once you do don’t fall victim to lifestyle creep.

    8. You spend the majority of your awake time working and you end the year with no more money than you started with
