The Ring of Power, also known as the “Arjan Ring”, is a 3,200-year-old ancient relic made of pure gold. Discovered in 1982 near Behbahan, it belonged to the Elamite king Kidin-Hutran, and is housed at the National Museum of Iran. [873×500]

Any insights as to why it was bent with the engraved sides facing in?
Super interesting object. I’m not sure I’ve ever see anything else quite like it. Really unusual shape, sort of perplexing to my imagination.
