Meymand is a very ancient village in Iran. It is believed to be a primary human residence in the Iranian Plateau, dating back to 12,000 years ago. Many of the residents live in the 350 hand-dug houses amid the rocks, some of which have been inhabited for as long as 3,000 years [960×1257]

He seems to be very happy. Sometimes I think about how different each and everyone’s life is. Some live in big cities, some live in hand-dug houses and then there are people, who still live in huts in the rainforest without ever having contact with the modern world. On some days I wish I could switch live for a day, just to see how it could have gone for me.
