Happens to me years ago as a kid dirt biking down a trail. The ventilation is tube or whatever it was on my ancient Yamaha popped off and gas started spritzing out. I shoved my thumb over it it and got my dad’s attention. We duct taped it until we got back to camp and he had a spare cap.
