On CNN last night (Abby Phillip’s show) the two conservative commentators were flabbergasted that the rest of the panel was upset about innocent Americans, including children, being detained in this manner for the ICE operation targeting criminals. Their response was “Well, what are we supposed to do? We needed to catch the criminals by invading the building at night and this is unavoidable collateral damage.”
You’re telling me ICE doesn’t have the imagination or capacity to conduct operations without detaining and traumatizing innocents and children? There MUST be another way to target criminals without scooping up all of these innocent people.
The truth is, they simply don’t care whether or not they harm an innocent person or child here.
