Stuff like this reminds me how old I am. I don’t know any famous musicians and feel so out of touch. That old couple is relatable

Bruh I was at the show in LA last night and so many people were confused.
Meanwhile I’m yelling out “Tell Virgil, write brick on my briiiick!”
They also did a whole wrestling match while Smoke DZA rapped

He came on stage out of nowhere one time when I was at like either a Navy Blue or Boldy James show in NYC a few years ago (honestly can’t remember which) and got everyone so hyped. I miss living in NYC, it felt like more than half the time I’d go to a show there’d be a surprise appearance just off someone being around

I was in ATL for a work trip and wanted to make the most of it so I got on my concert tracking app and saw Westside Gunn: Heels have eyes and I was hyped! I didnt see any openers or anything on the lineup and thought that was weird. Spent 80$ on tickets and drove alone for 1.5 hours through ATL traffic and walked in to….. a wrestling arena? I’ve been to other themed concerts so I didnt think too much of it.
Then the announcer came out and said “Are you guys ready for HIPHOP???!!!” FUCK YEAH I AM “Are you guys ready for WRESTLING!!!!!!” ….. wot
Then Onyx came out and had a sick set in the wrestling arena and I was into it. Still naive as to what would come. At no point was I convinced this wasn’t a rap concert.
Then the wrestlers. And more wrestlers. Then a tag team match.. and I see Westside, Benny, and Dza in a VIP area. Im watching them the whole time thinking when they’ll get ready to do a set?
After 2 hours I started to question the event. I looked it up and saw the Westside owns a fucking wrestling company and this was only a fucking wrestling match. I dont have social media so Im far out of the loop i guess. Bro was just in the crowd watching and I stayed for an unbelievable amount of time before I called it.
I cant even say that at least I got to see some wrestling or even Onyx, it was a horrible experience and I was so mad. Especially because I had told everyone from my work about it and how excited I was to see Westside rap and i had to tell them it was a wrestling match. At least every concert from here on out will be able to top that.

I like 2/3 of Griselda but I’d still be a little thrown off to have them at my Erykah Badu concert.
