And orange man is still waddling around a free man after being convicted of felony sexual assault. Oh my.

Why was my first thought on the sentencing:
—> Diddy is about to get the “Epstein Special” …He did and knows too much.

He’s saying hpnotiq (a new alcohol around the time) tasted like piss.
Edit because I remember also around the same time many rappers were getting offers from large corporations to advertise their products in their music, most notably McDonald’s offering money to mention their burgers. There was a lot of backlash from the rap community back then (how times have changed), and I think the Game’s disdain for hpnotiq was in line with that mentality in the rap game at the time.
Also found this because it funnily kind of connects both of these topics:
“Urban legend traces the Incredible Hulk’s [a drink made by combining Hennessy and Hpnotiq] inception to a launch party at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ restaurant and club Justin’s in New York City. Nick Storm, an executive at Sony Music, joined the Hpnotiq team in 2001 when the product was still being marketed as Hip-no-teak to evoke the French flair of its wildly successful competitor, Alizé. Yakoby recruited Storm to help promote the brand in music industry circles at their regular hangouts like Club Cheetah and Justin’s. After months of sluggish sales, Storm suggested to Yakoby that they try a more streetwise pronunciation: Hip-nah-tick.”

The line your referencing in the title is The Game disliking Hypnotic. He has atleast one other song where he hates on it. In Let’s Ride he says “Bottles on me, tell the waiter to order another round and put that cheap ass hypnotic down.”
