    1. I would have to believe a lot of bandaids were sold the next day. Those shoes 👠weren’t made for walking. Ouch!

    3. This was the year my grandparents went to their Senior Prom. I’m a 37 year old man

Judging from the shadows, it’s about noon. When did prom start? How far do they have to walk?

Gotta love hoofing it to the prom dressed up in a tux in the Texas heat. Must be a big puddle of sweat at the front door. At least the guys were smart enough to choose white.

    6. I find myself just as fascinated by the quality of the road pavement, sidewalk, and grass. Looks about the same as today. Not Leave it to Beaver perfect.

You could buy those cars for about halftnof the average workers annual salary back then

    8. Ugh we know know, that’s where they all fell in love at the ‘Fish Under the Sea’ dance.

Not 1962. We NEVER would have had dresses or hair like that and the picture most likely would be black and white. Does anyone else think that. Hair would be back combed. Dresses that wild wouldn’t have been allowed.
