Hasn’t happen in 7 years since *check notes trump was president.
And also* check notes again it was the longest shutdown in American history.
Funnily enough trump said something along the lines of a government shutdown is because a president can govern (I don’t think he said it that coherently) but that was when there ALMOST was a shut down under Biden. To be clear there never was a shut down under Biden.
