Soon they’ll be just like North Korea. Producing all products themselves, cause no one will want to deal with them.

In Springfield they’re eating the cats they’re eating the dogs of the people that live there 🎵🎵🎶

    3. “any country that does not make its furniture in the United States”

How do you decide whether a country does that, like what are the criteria?

    4. SingularityCentral on

He truly believes all the bullshit that is being spun from his propaganda machine about the tariffs. Mad King just keeps getting madder.

    5. I mean, I can’t say this enough, but what a flipping moron. He and his regime are doing everything they can to make people poor, yet they want us to buy expensive, handmade furniture?! Wouldn’t everyone love quality furniture? But people can only AFFORD the cheap pressed wood crap.

    6. I make furniture for my house and family as a hobby and it’s usually more expensive to make than what I can buy from overseas manufacturers. The materials here are cost-prohibitive to many, never mind buying from US made manufacturers.

    7. Someone ought to go check tags on all the furniture at Mar-A-Lago.

Betcha I know where it all DOES NOT come from.

    8. He knows America needs to stop China from taking the lead as world’s ruling economy but he and his bunch of incompetent toddlers fail miserably at trying to follow their steps. It is as if he was copying from the guy next to him in a multiple version exam expecting to get the same result. Pathetic.

Why would another country make its furniture in the United States? Does he mean company or is he just stupid?

Actually don’t bother answering that, DJT is clearly stupid

    10. Comfortable_Swim_380 on

Anyone else finding this shit for brains putting DJT at the end of his tweets starting to get annoying in itself.
We know your name dipshit.. Sadly..

Just a clear sign of the ego on this guy.
      Now I just read,..

    11. As a North Carolinian, this is a terrible idea. Many of the furniture factories in NC have been closed for decades. The money it’ll cost to get those factories up and running is going to be way too expensive! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Trump is a failed business man, pedo, conman who doesn’t have any clue what he’s talking about and wish more intelligent people would challenge him on his bs.

    12. Tariffs again? Does he actually have any economic policies or or it just ‘tariffs for everyone ‘?

    13. This clown is destroying our country and MAGA are still obsessed with him. When will the cult wake up???

    14. Didn’t know countries make furniture.

Always thought it’s the private companies and businesses that do that, but I guess those Ministries of Interiors were always refering to Interior design.

    15. “Any country that does not make its furniture in the United States”

      Whaaaat?

So if, Sweden, say, makes its furniture domestically it is subject to a substantial tariff as it is not making its furniture in the US? Is that how this works?

I lived in NC for 12 years. their international furniture market is a twice yearly event that brings almost 7 billion dollars to the state…. with 10% of attendees coming from around the world, bringing their hand-made furniture to showcase… they probably contribute at least a billion dollars in economic activity per year, if not more, with taxes from their sales, their hotel stays, their tourism, etc… This tariff is going to absolutely kill that.

    17. Trump has already tariffed all of the supplies and tools we use to make furniture; steel, aluminum, wood, fabric, machinery/tools. His steel tariff even impacts screws that we use to assemble furniture.

How is America supposed to be competitive when Trump has increased the cost for businesses to get materials and supplies?

And where are these magic new American lumber mills that will now supply all of the wood we need? Trump has also made woodworking an expensive hobby/craft.

The great country of America. Where raping kids and murdering kids at school is great. Helping citizens is bad
