I asked the people in my life who know more about fashion than me (F cousin + sister) and they agreed on #4, putting the hat on his eyestalks is yucky.

I was about to say of course 4 but then the visor is meant to shield the eyes so I have to agree that 1 *is* the most appropriate

Apparently 1, 2 and 3 all already happened in the series though. I did not find exact episodes and also did not watch many seasons. But that is what I found from previous discussions about the topic.
