    1. Can’t help but feel for her, even if she was on the wrong side of war. Just shows how effed up war is, ya know? No winners, only survivors.

      There are different names around, most quoted is either Lara or Lore Bauer. Lore as a shortcut from Hannelore. But other sources say, in comparison of different photos, it wasn’t her.

      What you can’t see in the pic here, but in the video, she wears the field-grey pants, which were usually issued to female staff that were support for the Wehrmacht.

      Anyway, i guess, she was punched by a civilian of the mob that was there when they forced the Germans to leave, she probably got to Germany, i mean the occupied zones in this time.

    3. If she was truly evil, she would not be limping along a road post war. She would be under custody or hanging from a tree. Judging from her shiner, my guess is she was a collaborator of some type though.

      I’m greatly amused, for lack of a better word, that many people are infatuated by her because of her “modern hair” rather than her obvious peril.
