It’s not irony, it’s how they really see themselves. When the left commits violence it’s political violence, creating martyrs etc. however their violence is a just crusade.
They do not care about hypocrisy they do not care about your sick, owns and burns about their hypocrisy. They have a stunted world view which everyone should take note of and understand if we are to cohabitate with these people in a polite society.

They should tell the famously leftist Cato Institute that came to the same conclusion: the overwhelming majority of political murders are committed by the right.
I’ve had people argue that all of those studies are BS because cases of obvious left-wing political murders are not included. When I asked for examples, I got only nonsense. For example, a cop who was shot by a Black guy trying to rob a jeweler during the time of the BLM riots. So either they seem to believe “Black guy murders somebody = left-wing political violence,” or “BLM riot → all murders committed in the city during that timeframe = left-wing political violence.”
One example i could half-agree with is Luigi. I can see why somebody would call that left-wing political violence based on his reasoning for the murder. The guy himself doesnt really seem to fit in either group.
The only good argument (and one I haven’t seen made by them yet) is that right-wing political violence is easier to identify, because those guys feel the need to tattoo themselves with swastikas and write manifestos about great replacement conspiracies.
They **want** to live in their own special precious little reality.

After reading the *NYP* article they cited… well, more of the same. They pretend the guy who attacked Paul Pelosi wasn’t a right-winger (read about him and see if you agree with that, *imho* it’s absurd).
They complain that a few were counted for the right because of swastika tattoos (if true, fair point, but based on the rest of the article I don’t think it is).
They say the guy who murdered Kirk is a “leftist,” because of course jumping to conclusions is always justified when they do it. And they actually write: *“The leftist who assassinated Charlie Kirk harbored ideas that were not alien to the average progressive.”* I don’t even know what they mean by that, supposedly being gay?
And they even added this great example of mental gymnastics Olympics:

TLDR:
NYP Article = 10% valid, 20% lies, 70% horsecrap. As expected.
Was he praying on the steps of an abortion clinic?….oh yeah, that was the last administration. He probably tried fighting or spitting on an officer.
I mean, I know it’s not the point, but lol at tough in a soft shoe profile. Tough enough to pepper spray a priest but feet too delicate for boots.
