I've decided to find out how popular Flathub is, relatively to country population. For those who doesn't know, Flathub is kinda app store for almost any non-server Linux* distro**. Of course this data doesn't 100% correlates with number of Linux users, especially in countries with restricted internet or limited electricity availability. But I think it clearly shows that Linux is more popular in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand than, for example in South Korea or Japan which are free and high developed
* An alternative to Windows operating system, which will be supported after 14.10.2025 (unlike Windows 10) and will work on old hardware (unlike windows 11)
** Linux is provided in very different program bundles (distributions) depending on user's preferences. Most of them cost nothing to download and use

I like the idea, but a lot of Asian countries might just use different sites
In conclusion, the highest concentration of nerds is in Northern Europe. I guess that’s not too surprising because Linus Torvalds is Finnish.
What does Flathub get me that normal Linux software delivery methods like yum don’t?
