im always confused by what is designated as ONE river. like isnt mississippi-missouri 2 rivers? arent the ones in south america all tied to amazon in some way shape or form?

This is dots on a map and a table, neither of which is [a qualifying data visualization](https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/wiki/rules/rule1).
A good visualisation of a river on a map is the river highlighted on the map. Dashed lines don’t really bring any emphasis for me.
