I know people will most likely miss Shisui a lot more than her…
But I absolutely will miss Xiaolan.
Her naivety, adorableness and the way she calls Maomao’s name is something I needed just to break the tension in this romance(?), mystery, medical and political drama man.
I genuinely felt sad when Maomao read the goodbye letter from Xiaolan at the end of season 2.
I know there’s a spinoff LN of the story from Xiaolan’s perspective – but I hope to see her back in the anime as well.
