Turkish Pride

Young 18 year old lieutenant Horatio Lewis of the 145th pa. He was wounded in both legs at the battle of Gettysburg. He would die of his wounds July 20th 1863. His body was brought home and buried after his death.

In 1946 Marilyn Monroe worked as a pin-up girl and charged $10 an hour to be photographed as reference for images that were turned into paintings. This is an example of one of the more ‘safe for work’ images. (1080×960)
