    1. Maybe she should be more concerned about the job SHE is doing preparing the kid for adulthood, and less about the job the coach is doing.

I was in dance and color guard and often had to run laps and do push-ups also. My daughter complained that her dance teacher was mean because she kept making them do their routine and when some of the girls were talking and laughing they all had to do 20 push-ups.

    3. Better yet, how can I prevent my son from crippling under any type of pressure when he has to face the world on his own?

    4. Back in 2005, my middle school football coach would make us do pushups, crunches, squats, and suicides for “fooling around”

      These parents are SOFT

    5. I’m almost 60. 15 push-ups is barely getting warmed up. Let me know when the coach makes the kid do so many push-ups the kid throws up. If that number is less than 15, perhaps the parent needs to be doing push-ups too!

    6. I’m hoping the top reply is “tell your kid to stop fooling around” because if not WTF? One of the (very few) things I hated about coaching Little League was parents treating it a cheap babysitting rather a sport to be practiced a d played to learn life lessons.

    7. If my football coach had made me do 15 pushups when I screwed up, I would’ve kissed him on the lips. (Of course, that would’ve been another 15…)

    8. Tell your kid to stop fooling around when he’s supposed to be training. CONTROL THE THING YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO CONTROL.

    9. This is t a real thing. Push-ups aren’t abuse first and no real parent thought having coach do parenting for them was a Bad thing

    10. Easy fix here…

Mom could just pull him out of basketball so he doesn’t have to do any more pushups then he’ll learn that mommy and daddy will always be there to protect their precious little flower from having to do any exercise then he can amount to nothing in life.
