[2294 x 1290] Hello! I have a question. After scroll artifacts like these are found, how do the people who look over them know where each little piece goes?

Like there’s probably context clues with the words and everything, but some of the pieces only have a few characters.

Structurally I can see how you can reverse engineer a sentence with the rules of grammar, but with so much missing surly some of the pieces have to be off the mark right?

Also how would they know which collective section of the scroll went in what order? For example I could’ve asked this question first before the other 2 paragraphs above.
