The lamina of Ipponio was found in 1969 in a necropolis in Vibo Valentia, Italy. The inscription is made on a sheet of gold, and is about the Orphic-Pythagorean initiation, focused on the instructions on the after-death journey to the Underworld for the deceased. 5th-4th century BCE [1079×1516]
