Back in 2019, I was basically in a toxic relationship with my snooze button. Hit it 5 times every morning, promised myself "just 5 more minutes" (we all know how that goes 😅).
Fast forward to 2025: Up at 6 AM, crushing workouts, and mapping out my day while the city's still sleeping. Wild difference, right?
Here's the thing though – it wasn't some magical motivation hack or trendy morning routine that changed everything.
The real game-changer? I stopped waiting to "feel motivated."
Instead, I asked myself: "Who do I want to become?"
Not just "What goals do I want to hit?"
The shift was simple but powerful:
• Stopped seeing myself as "not a morning person"
• Started viewing early mornings as MY time
• Made the morning routine something to look forward to (coffee first, always ☕)
No more dragging myself out of bed feeling guilty. No more rushing through mornings like they're a punishment.
Big secret? There is no secret. Just small, consistent changes that compound over time.
Your morning routine doesn't need to look like mine. But if you're stuck in that snooze-button cycle, remember:
✨ Identity beats motivation
✨ Enjoyment beats discipline
✨ Small steps beat giant leaps
6 years ago, I never thought I'd be that person posting about morning routines. Yet here we are 😂
