Bubble Plot of countries by GDP per Capita and Life Expectancy [OC]
I remember book called Factfullness by Swedish Statistician Hans Rosing, and its Bubble Plot of countries at the beginning. Today I have decided to plot it myself.
Hmm. Interesting. There’s a very clear outlier in the middle where life expectancy is much lower that expected from per capita GDP. Presumably this is some kind of “failed state”. Any idea what went wrong for these unfortunate people?
