    1. I remember a friend showing me a small town/village somewhere where everything was destroyed by flood except the mosque. And I was like you know they built their houses with wood but built the mosque with bricks right?

      Edit: Even though I’m making a sarcastic joke, this is literally something my mom or her crazy contemporaries would say (and have when I’ve tried to rationalize with her before).

    3. This is fucking stupid on both ends. That part of the church didn’t burn. The candles are intact.

      Not saying it is a miracle…..

      But the premise that a wood fire is 600 is silly. Sorry but I can get my steel fire pit to glow red at times, and I have melted glass when I’m messing around. The actual temperature of a fire is dependent on a lot more than a fuel source. So to dismiss the cross as not being melted because wood burns at 600 is one of the most ignorant responses I can imagine.
