It’s rare when Lindsay Graham makes a little bit of sense!

    1. Let’s see if he actually backs up his words with any actions. He has said reasonable things before only to back pedal and do the exact opposite.

    2. Whoever is running the Dark Brandon account seems to be having a lot of fun. Of course they have a lot of material to work with

    3. Where in the Constitution does it give the Senate the ability to promote officers in the military? Isn’t POTUS the Commander and Chief? In my pleb mind wouldn’t that make POTUS the person who decides if promotions happen?

    4. Republicans are a menace to society. DO NOT vote Republican…ever! Even Lindsay sees the truth now.

    5. I still don’t understand how one senator has the power to do what he is doing right now, and the other 99 are paralyzed to do anything to stop him. And what’s there to prevent any of them to use the same tactic in the future whenever just one of them disagrees on an issue.

All this means is Lindsay Graham is no longer somehow personally benefitting from the situation more than he’s personally suffering. That’s literally the only thing that would cause this from him.

There’s something seriously wrong when one man from some state in the USA can hold up major military posting for this long. Change the fucking rules.

    8. Has he said he thinks it’s illegal? All I’ve read is that he just doesn’t agree with the travel reimbursement. He doesn’t have to think or even say it’s illegal. Hell he doesn’t even need to give a reason. He just has to vote against cloture for mass confirmations. It’s not like his constituents are going to hold him to account.

He’s just a fucking pissbaby throwing a wrench in the machine.

Doug Jones should run again against this fool. “The former mediocre at best football coach is literally making us less safe by blocking important military nominees” seems like some strong campaign messaging fuel.
