Using the deaths of civilians to justify killing civilians, quick down vote this comment to show your approval of this continuing massacre

    2. This is like people watching American civil war battles and having a picnic. It’s not without precedent.

    3. Kinda is normal. People had picnics during the First Battle of Bull Run during the American Civil War. People watch war footage online all the time. People love watching dangerous and violent things when they personally aren’t in any danger.

    4. Let’s not pretend most of middle America wouldn’t treat bombing a perceived enemy the same as they do a NASCAR event.

We just don’t share borders with the civilians we bomb.

Huh. Kinda like how people used to watch lynchings and then mutilate the corpses for souvenirs, right?

    6. They are at war, what do you expect?
see enough of people around get murdered and your brain connection start going weird, same as Palestinians dancing in the street when a bunch of Israelis got shot in the street after leaving the synagogue. War brings out the apathy in everyone, the stress requires alleviation therefore this happens.

    7. Outside the town of Sderot, huh, wonder if there’s anything notable about Sderot.

      >In January 2008, British journalist Seth Freedman of The Guardian described Sderot as a city of near-deserted streets and empty malls and cafes.[27] In March 2008, the mayor said that the population had dropped by 10–15%, while aid organizations said the figure was closer to 25%. Many of the families that remained were those who could not afford to move out or were unable to sell their homes.[28] Studies found that air raid sirens and explosions have caused severe psychological trauma in some residents.[29] According to a study carried out at Sapir Academic College in 2007, some 75% of residents aged 4–18 were suffering from PTSD, including sleeping disorders and severe anxiety, in the wake of rocket attacks on the city, and 1,000 residents were receiving psychiatric treatment at the community mental health center.[30][31] From mid-June 2007 to mid-February 2008, 771 rockets and 857 mortar bombs were fired at Sderot and the western Negev, an average of three or four each a day

    8. This would 100% happen anywhere in the world with a view to this. It wouldn’t be everyone, but teenagers would absolutely go get drunk and watch it, young guys would hang out overlooking it. People are both curious, how often do you get to see this sort of thing, and awful, people are awful.

    9. The first battle of bullrun, the Roman colloseum, public executions, peiple watching war footage, etc are all things we’ve done in human history. Don’t act like this shit hasn’t happened before.

War tourism isn’t new. People that engage in it have always been freaks. Although perhaps not that surprising from people living in Sderot considering Hamas attack there.

If you sold tickets to this to American’s after 9/11 for Afghanistan it would have sold out immediately. while I’m not going to support this kinda behaviour im also not going to fault someone who lost a loved one during that terror attack from doing it either.

People forget that Americans did this too in both the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. People watch, it isn’t weird.

    13. Throwback to when us citizens gathered around the first battle of bull run at the start of the American civil war

    14. Yes, and if i remember correctly, half of the world watched Baghdad being bombed live on CNN a couple of years ago.

    15. Never underestimate just how much growing up in an unsafe country can effect what is viewed as normal

    16. This is an old photo from 2014.

This is actually pretty normal human behaviour, if you were ever in or near an active battlefield it is a sight to behold, and it attracts the eye.

    17. Hamas doesn’t care how many Palestinians die because of their actions
Their goal is the death of Isreal not the founding of the Palestinian state

    18. Necroing up old shit to push an agenda without mentioning that it’s old is dishonest. There are reasons to post old things (to discuss how little has changed etc), but you gotta say that up front.
